With EventMatic’s new check-in, entrance staff record entries and exits, manage several rooms with the same ticket and always know how many people are inside.
The door is where an event can go wrong: queues, guests who are not on the list, different rooms with different rules, minors who must enter with a signed consent form. Staff have to decide in a few seconds, often without a supervisor at hand.
Entries and exits from the same app
With EventMatic’s new check-in, the operator has everything in the Android app. For each station they choose whether to record the entry, the exit or both: anyone who leaves is marked as exited and, when they come back in, the passage is recorded without false duplicates.
Several rooms with the same ticket
At events with several rooms, a valid ticket opens the doors of the room where the person has a seat. If they turn up at the entrance of another room, the app does not turn them away automatically: it asks the operator whether to allow or deny access, and the data stays separate room by room.
Unregistered guests and consent forms for minors
Anyone who arrives without registering can be registered directly at the door: the app asks the operator whether to allow or deny entry. For events open to minors, the organiser switches on the consent form check: at the door the question is asked only once, both in the app and in the list at the web station.
How many people are inside, in real time
Meanwhile, in the event dashboard, occupancy updates live for each session: registrations, capacity and people present, with seats occupied, blocked and free. The attendee search at the station finds a name even if the words are in a different order or typed without accents.
