Infordata Sistemi Società Benefit

post-header

How can technology help protect our seas? At Marina Izola, innovation meets the marine environment during the Open Day of the Slovenian site of the REMEDIES project, where Infordata Sistemi is actively contributing to the development of sustainable solutions for cleaner coastal waters.

Together with project partners — the University of Maribor, CleraOne, Marina Izola, the YouSea Institute, the ZRS Koper research center, and local coastal stakeholders — the event will showcase how science, technology, and communities can work hand in hand to tackle marine plastic pollution.

The aim of the event is to present the pilot activities and innovations of the REMEDIES project aimed at reducing micro- and macroplastic pollution in coastal and marine environments in the area of the demonstration center in Koper. The event will highlight the connection between science, technology, and the community in developing sustainable solutions for the detection and removal of plastic waste in the marine environment.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about advanced technological prototypes and solutions for monitoring marine pollution that are being pilot-tested in the Slovenian sea, including the CleraOne filtration system and solutions for identifying plastic waste using underwater drones.

In addition to the presentations, the event will offer an opportunity for knowledge exchange among researchers, industry, local authorities, and coastal residents, with an emphasis on community involvement in the preservation of the marine environment.

Participation in the event is free of charge; however, the number of places is limited and registration is mandatory for all participants.
