Presentation of the Acquamarina Project at the FVG Marinas General Assembly

The General Assembly of FVG Marinas, the reference network for nautical tourism in Friuli Venezia Giulia that brings together the region’s leading tourist ports, hosted the presentation of the Acquamarina project.

Developed by Infordata Sistemi and co-funded by the European Union under the PR FESR 2021–2027 programme, Acquamarina represents an innovative step forward in the smart monitoring of marina and shipyard waters. The system, powered by artificial intelligence, enables real-time analysis of key water parameters to ensure regulatory compliance, environmental protection, and sustainable management.

Among its main strengths are automatic anomaly alerts, digital documentation for regulatory authorities, and predictive analytics to prevent pollution events. The initiative helps marinas achieve higher environmental standards and anticipate future European directives — contributing to the creation of the “Blue Flag 2.0”, the new benchmark for sustainable ports.

The presentation attracted strong interest among participants, confirming the growing attention of the nautical sector toward innovative and environmentally responsible technologies.

With this initiative, FVG Marinas reaffirms its commitment to promoting innovation, environmental responsibility, and the continuous enhancement of service quality across the marinas of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
