As part of the European project UNDERSEA – UNDerwatER Soundscape bEyond Ais Information, funded by the Interreg Italy–Croatia 2021–2027 Programme, Infordata Sistemi S.r.l. Società Benefit has been selected as the external supplier responsible for developing the new mobile application dedicated to locating small vessels during Noise Clean-up events and environmental awareness activities.
The app is one of the project’s key outputs, aiming to enhance the monitoring and management of underwater noise pollution in the Adriatic Sea by integrating new digital tools that support marine biodiversity protection.
Leveraging its expertise in software development and tracking systems, Infordata Sistemi will contribute to the creation of an intuitive, reliable application fully integrated with the acoustic monitoring network established by the project. The app will support cross‑border activities between Italy and Croatia, facilitating data collection and public participation in citizen‑science initiatives.
The UNDERSEA project, coordinated by the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) together with Italian and Croatian partners, will continue until July 2026 with the goal of strengthening the protection of Adriatic marine ecosystems through innovative technologies and shared resource management.
