Trieste, 5 June 2026 — At the Blue Marina Awards hosted today at Hotel Marina Uno in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Infordata Sistemi Srl Società Benefit takes part in the themed talk “Innovation that welcomes the future”, on how artificial intelligence and digital services are changing the way tourist ports are run and how boat owners experience them.
In the panel moderated by Paolo Mosanghini, opened by the Mayor of Lignano Sabbiadoro and the regional councillor for productive activities, Marko Petelin, CEO of Infordata Sistemi, sets out the company’s vision of a marina that is more intelligent, more sustainable and better connected.
acquamArIna: the platform for water-quality monitoring
The talk is devoted to acquamArIna, the IoT and AI solution Infordata Sistemi has built for continuous monitoring of water quality in marinas and tourist ports.
acquamArIna combines:
- Multiparameter sensors installed on the quayside
- Machine learning to estimate parameters that cannot be measured in real time
- Anomaly detection for spills, sensor drift and other problems
- A public dashboard and open data, for transparency and public involvement
- An operations console for marina managers and port authorities
The platform is already running at Marina Uno in Lignano Sabbiadoro, and is a model any port can repeat if it wants to improve its environmental performance and the quality of what it offers.
