Infordata Sistemi took part in the latest events organised within the European project INSPIRE – Innovative Solutions for Plastic Free European Rivers, held in Bucharest, Romania, from 7 to 10 June 2026.
Our CEO Marko Petelin attended the INSPIRE General Assembly and the INSPIRE Blue Economy Conference, hosted at the Romanian Parliament as part of the Regional Water Forum “Danube – Eastern Europe 2026”.

The conference provided an important platform for dialogue among project partners, public institutions, water sector operators, universities and technology providers. Discussions focused on innovative solutions to tackle plastic and microplastic pollution in European rivers, the technologies being tested within the INSPIRE project, and future policy pathways for protecting water resources.
During the General Assembly, consortium partners reviewed project progress, discussed ongoing technical activities and deliverables, and planned the next steps of the initiative, further strengthening collaboration across the partnership.

The programme also included a technical visit to the Fetești Wastewater Treatment Plant, where participants had the opportunity to observe monitoring activities and innovative mitigation solutions relevant to the project in real operational conditions.
These productive days combined strategic planning, technical exchange and collaborative workshops, highlighting the significant progress achieved by the INSPIRE consortium in its mission to eliminate plastic waste from European rivers.
Infordata Sistemi is proud to contribute to this important European initiative and to work alongside partners from across Europe in developing sustainable and innovative solutions for a cleaner environment and a healthier future.
