Gorizia takes a decisive step toward modernity with the inauguration of the new “Bombi” digital art gallery. The tunnel, a key pedestrian link in the city, has been transformed from a simple passage into an immersive experience featuring the works of world-renowned artist Refik Anadol.
Technology at the Service of the Visitor Experience To ensure maximum safety and optimal flow management, the realization of the access systems was entrusted to Infordata Sistemi. The company has installed state-of-the-art electronic pedestrian turnstiles equipped with counting sensors, allowing for real-time monitoring of visitor numbers.
These devices are strategically positioned along the lateral pedestrian paths, set back approximately four meters from the entrances. This design choice provides shelter for visitors, protecting them from the rain while they wait or pass through the gates.
Accessibility and Routes The gallery remains bidirectional, facilitating seamless movement between different areas of the city center:
- Entrances: Access is available from either Piazza Vittoria or Via Giustiniani.
- Exits: Visitors can exit towards the Via Bombi parking area or in the opposite direction.
Supported by the high-tech solutions of Infordata Sistemi, this project successfully blends the preservation of historical heritage with cutting-edge digital innovation, turning a transit point into a major city landmark.
