The various Eastern European branches of the well-known multinational debit card issuing bank needed a printer that could personalise debit cards by means of embossing printing and codify magnetic stripes. We therefore recommended MAXIMA 861, a plastic card punch provided with a drum containing 47 characters in Standard Gothic font and 10 numbers in OCR7B font for infill printing on the back of each card. MAXIMA 861 also came with a Hi-co/Lo-co magnetic stripe encoding unit and built-in topping units for embossing/infill printing.
